The State of Rhode Island awards MPA to Energy Source to provide turnkey energy-efficiency services
Energy Source LLC, local Providence-based energy service contractor, has been awarded by the Department of Administration for The State of Rhode Island, to provide turnkey energy-efficiency services to public subdivisions and public-sectors under the Master Price Agreement, also known as MPA 508.
The MPA 508 states that as authorized by law; cities, towns, schools, and quasi-public agencies participating in these energy-efficiency retrofit projects will be awarded up to $50,000 for the MPA-listed companies not obtaining a public bid. Also stated in the MPA, the award for projects between $50,000 and $600,000 without full public bid securing three bids from MPA-listed companies.
