Company Background

Attleboro High School is a public high school located in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The school is located at 100 Rathbun Williard Drive. The school has an approximate student enrollment of 1,700 students in grades 9-12. The schools mascot is the Bombardiers and the school colors are Royal Blue, Silver, and White.

Project Details

Attleboro Public Schools worked with Energy Source to seek savings opportunities at their high school.
Energy source engaged with the operations personnel at the High School and performed a whole building energy audit.
Energy Source analysis determined that there were significant savings to be realized in several areas including HVAC, and lighting.
After securing utility incentives on behalf of the school, Energy Source commenced work and installed an Energy Management System to control rooftop units, chiller controls, air-handling units by utilizing Demand Control Ventilation.
Energy Source also replaced existing 5HP-25HP motors with high efficiency motors and Variable Speed Drive units linked to EMS.
On the lighting side, Energy Source replaced older T8 lighting with high efficiency T8 Fixtures and installed occupancy sensors in classrooms.
